When does freedom of expression become harassment? A man screaming at his wife, hounding her from room to room, is clearly harassment, and wouldn't be defended as freedom of speech in any court.

Imagine this scenario: You wake up at 7:30 on a beautiful fall Saturday morning, fix a cup of coffee and wander into your backyard with the Athens Banner-Herald, admiring the birds at the feeder, the garden you've worked so hard for during the long hot summer. The 8-year-old child in her garden next door is jumping on the trampoline; the children on the other side, two houses down, are swinging on their play set.

Suddenly, the air is split by a terrible noise, the coffee in your cup begins to slosh, and you feel as if you are being beaten by a stick as the lyrics slowly enter your consciousne
